Despite its prohibitive title, this 60s-styled diner bar on Smith street is vegetarian friendly and features a menu of usual suspects with a special twist. Our “corn beef hash,” mine sans beef of course, came as a delicious mix of potatoes, roasted beets and onions. Any dish that has roasted beets in it and can be devoured at any hour of the day is enough to launch me onto an orbit of endless appreciation. So thumbs up for Gravy. Their lunch menu apparently includes a Cobb salad of a “to die for” variety.

Yeah, their Cobb Salad has traditionally been very good, but lately it’s been erring on the “too rich” side.
